Welcome!
Hi, I’m Jane, a Washington state Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I offer online counseling for women with a variety of concerns.
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health as well as an undergraduate degree in psychology. My experience includes working with a widely diverse population in educational settings, sexual assault, trauma, and private practice. I am a lifelong learner and continually work to stay current in advances in the field to best serve you.
I believe that our experiences in life shape who we are today
As such, I bring a multifaceted background to my therapeutic work as well as my own experiences confronting and surviving personal challenges. In addition to counseling, I have worked and trained in a variety of settings including, healthcare, communications, and education. My enthusiasm for counseling arises from my own experience with its ability to facilitate the potential for healing and my genuine desire to help others.
Although I am native to the Puget Sound, I have lived in several areas of the US and abroad. These experiences have allowed for increased cultural and social sensitivity, resulting in a greater awareness of the stresses of both urban and rural living and the struggles of forming new connections and relationships while adjusting to a new environment.
In addition to the role of counselor, I am also a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and friend. When I am not working, I’m actively involved in my community, enjoy the outdoors and spending time with others. I love to laugh, explore new places, and relish a good cup of coffee. I am passionate about the impact our interpersonal relationships have upon us and believe they are important factors in shaping our lives.
